Strange things had been happening for months. We went from doctor to doctor until we found a good one. He said, Ken you have something organic going on, and I don't know what it is, but for now we'll treat the symptoms. It took another year to have a neurologist tell us, Ken I'm afraid the news is not good. You have Multiple Sclerosis. Silence followed. Numbness went through my body. I had no clue how Ken felt. Barbara Celeste McCloskey is a novelist from Racine, Wisconsin. As an English Major from UW-Wisconsin, she had had a twenty-year career in marketing communications as well as a teaching career at the local community college. She lives with her husband Ken and furry kids, pug dog Ernie and pound cat Vinnie. Her titles include: Apple Pie & Strudel Girls, Stranger in the Spotlight, Tea and Biscuit Girls, The Love Immigrants, Finding Gessler, Stephanie Comes to America, Grounded No More, and The Subversive.
