Overview

While out scouting in southern Indiana, Alessa Duvalier comes across a Kurian Conference being attended by every major military sect the Kurians have in the Midwest. Taking advantage of the strategic opportunity to cripple their enemy, Alessa and her warriors strike and achieve victory--only to discover an even greater threat to humanity. Most of the world's resistance leaders and the Lifeweavers are gathering for a peace conference in Helsinki, Finland, and according to the intelligence materials Alessa recovered during her raid, the Kurians have already inserted an agent among the delegates. David Valentine is chosen to be head of security for the Army of Kentucky representative, joining his Grog friend Ahn-Kha--and Alessa tags along. Now, thrust into a lethal intrigue that threatens the entire peace process, she learns that the Kurian agent may be the least of their concerns. For the Lifeweavers themselves are about to reveal something that will devastate the Resistance... Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music! Performed by Ken Jackson, Holly Adams, Michael Getz, Laura C Harris, Richard Rohan, Mort Shelby, Rose Elizabeth Supan, Mark Harrietha, Christopher Walker, Nanette Savard, Chris Davenport, Stephanie Németh-Parker, Peter Holdway, Terence Aselford, Steve Wannall, Troy Allan, Ryan Carlo Dalusung, Rob McFadyen, Scott McCormick, Christopher Williams, Yasmin Tuazon, Bradley Foster Smith, Thomas Penny, Karen Novack, Elias Khalil, Eric Messner, Donald Guzzi, Jonathon Church, Michael Glenn, Nora Achrati, Steven Carpenter, and Michael John Casey.

Author Information

E. E. Knight was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin and grew up in Stillwater, Minnesota. After graduating from Northern Illinois University with a double major in history and political science, he made his way through a number of jobs that related to neither before becoming an author. He resides in Oak Park, Illinois with his belly dancing, librarian wife. Ken Jackson is an in-demand narrator with a background in film and stage acting. Nanette Savard is an accomplished stage and film actress. She is an active voice-over performer who has narrated hundreds of audiobooks in every genre, garnering much critical acclaim. Dylan Thomas was born in Swansea, Wales on 27 October 1914. In 1934 his first book of poetry, Eighteen Poems appeared, followed by Twenty-five Poems in 1936, Deaths and Entrances in 1946 and in 1952 his final volume, Collected Poems. He also published many short stories, wrote filmscripts, broadcast stories and talks, did a series of lecture tours in the United States and wrote Under Milkwood, the radio play.During his fourth lecture tour of the United States in 1953, a few days after his 39th birthday, he collapsed in his New York hotel and died on November 9th at St. Vincent's Hospital. His body was sent back to Laugharne, Wales, where his grave is marked by a simple wooden cross. In June 1994, his wife, Caitlin Thomas, died in Italy, where she had spent most of the years of her life after the death of Dylan Thomas. Her body is buried next to his. Holly Adams is a classically trained, award-winning actor and narrator who loves every single thing about stories and the beings that inhabit them. With her attention to tone and character integrity, Holly enjoys narrating pretty much anything, and specializes in action-adventure/fantasy, mysteries/thrillers, and the subtle comfort of self-help nonfiction. Holly's first language was Southern, after which her family moved around a lot, finally settling in rural New York. Combined with a love of languages and her professional training, these experiences gave her a range of regional Southern dialects and an excellent capacity for accent and dialect in general. When not behind a mic, Holly continues to perform on stage, in films, and with the circus, especially Red Nose. Richard Rohan is a stage, film, and voice-over actor who has narrated hundreds of audiobooks over the last decade, in every genre. He is particularly proud of his work as director and performer on the acclaimed Space Fantasy audio drama series Deathstalker.
