Jose Salaverri is a Marianist priest from the province of Zaragoza, Spain, and is the provincial superior of Zaragoza, and a member of the General Chapter of 1981 in Linz. He was elected as the general superior and was commissioned to receive canonical approval of his religious order from the Holy See. His life is dedicated to the service of the Companions of Mary.
