Overview

Bailey Simms feels right at home along the rough and undulating roads of the countryside of Colorado Springs, Colorado. A seasoned distance runner ready to make a name for himself, the nineteen-year-old is stopped short when a summer storm hits the area, changing the surface of the earth. Bailey's Road is a story like no other. Set in a quaint small town at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. Bailey's Road is about heroes of a different kind, it's about redemption found in a hand full of kids that have lost their way in life, lost their ability to make it past one more day of living. Bailey finds hidden secrets left behind by an all-consuming government ready to change the face of the world. One night, an unexpected snowstorm hits the area without notice. Betty gets an idea that staying in Uncle Ron's bunker up the hill, in the back part of her uncle's property is the safest place to be, which leads them to an unimaginable destiny. Along with a strangely formed group of misfits they find a place of refuge, a place to start over. An unhinged scientist, a zookeeper, and a more than quirky robot, along with his sidekick, and a magical suit, lead Bailey and Betty with a handful of children on a mission to save humanity. Yet something else lurks in waiting for a small band of misfits. Something that gives new meaning to the word terror. Bailey's Road isn't just another enjoyable read, it's a guide showing moments of the human spirit when being tested to its very end. Full of humor, full of action-adventure, and moments of terror, keeping you on the edge of your seat until falling off. Do you know the way to Bailey's Road?
