A Bagpiper is a person who can: Play a list of tunes by memory on the bagpipe Develop their own music Can set up and maintain a set of bagpipes In this book, we are going to teach you how to do numbers 1 & 2 using the World's most popular bagpipe tunes; the Massed Band Tunes. These are the tunes that you would hear played at a Highland Games all over the World. Tunes are the reason people play the bagpipe for a lifetime. Being able to develop your own music makes you independent! This book is the result of 28 years of teaching both group and private lessons. The goal is to get you from point A to point B as quickly as possible. My job is to teach you how to practice this week. With this book and our program, this is a real thing!
