Overview

The darkness of the night intensifies with the storm. Thunder cracks! Lightning flares! Another loud crack echos through the halls! This one a gunshot!Marc Crossley, a scholarly insurance investigator specializing in works of art, is dispatched to The Hensley Manor to investigate a new counterfeiting ring. There he meets the bubbly Amiee. Together they find love and then they find murder. Along the way Marc and Amiee encounter explosions and fires that aren't, and a quirky hotel staff harboring long-held secrets they need to know if they have any chance at cracking the ring of counterfeiters and killers.
