Overview

Bacterial wilt caused by Ralstonia solanacearum is one of the most important diseases of solanaceous vegetables (tomatoes, eggplants, chillies, peppers and potatoes). The disease is soil-borne in nature and leads to widespread damage and significant loss. Research on understanding the nature of the pathogen means of mitigation are not available in one place.
