Reviews

'Vivid, biting passages ... This is brave stuff ... Read it [...] and you'll understand who these people are. And why peace in Ireland matters' The Times.

PRAISE FOR GULL: 'Glenn Patterson has written a decorous book about a big, indecorous American failure ... As a true stories go, it's a good one, and Patterson is alert to every nuance. He is by now a tremendously proficient novelist ... A rich, fictional achievement' Literary Review. 'Witty, entertaining, thought-provoking' The Times. 'Here, the whole preposterous saga is rendered hilarious and poignant. Gull confirms Patterson's status as one of Northern Ireland's finest fictional chroniclers' Sunday Times. 'Colourful ... If anyone can tell the curious DeLorean story in Northern Ireland, it's Patterson' Observer. 'A complex story put together with intuitive ease and panache. And for all that Patterson is a writer of the small intimacies, the everyday graces, he is compelling on the intercontinental sweep of the DeLorean tale' Irish Times.
