OverviewTom Harrawood is the author of Back Words, but he can't read it very well, if at all. Tom has dyslexia and it has presented obstacles for him his entire life. Growing up in the 1940s in rural America, Tom's disorder made him the brunt of ugly, insensitive name calling, and made earning an education incredibly difficult.
