Jean-Sebastien Bach was born in Eisenach (Saxe), on the 23rd march, 1685, thse same year as Sacrlatti and Haendel. He was born to a family of church musicians, which greatly helped his apprentiship of choral singing and of organ construction and reparation. At the age of twenty five, he became organist and musician at the Weimar court, where he composed his big works for organ (little book for the organ, Toccata in D minor) and every month a new Cantata. He left Weimar for the Koethen in 1717. This court being protestant, he no longer composed church music. As Prince Leopold was a good musician he was able to devote himself to instrumental pieces, eg. Barndebourgeois concerts, suites for violin or cello, Partitas for clavier and english and french suites. As the prince's wife had a litlle taste for music, Bach accepted the post of precentor of St. Thomas church in Leipzig, where he remained until his death on the 28th July, 1750. A universal musician (only the opera is lacking in his catalogue of works), Bach managed to integrate the legacy of his predecessors and with great skill, carried it to a height of perfection unknown before him.N.B.: Tous les morceaux peuvent etre joues en Duo par le Violon et Violoncelle / All songs can be played by the Duo Violin and CelloINDEX: Prelude / Prelude n Degrees1 / Petit prelude / Menuet en Sol / Menuet / Jesus que ma joie demeure / Aria (suite d'Orchestre en Re) / Aria (Cantate en Fa mineur) / Bourree (2eme Sonate pour violon) / Allemande / Polonaise / Musette (Suite Anglaise n Degrees6) / Gavotte (Moderato) / Gavotte Full Product DetailsAuthor: John L PhilipPublisher: Independently Published Imprint: Independently Published Dimensions: Width: 21.60cm , Height: 0.20cm , Length: 28.00cm Weight: 0.122kg ISBN: 9798503836981Pages: 42 Publication Date: 13 May 2021 Audience: General/trade , General Format: Paperback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: Available To Order ![]() We have confirmation that this item is in stock with the supplier.
