Author Information

John Biemer worked in merchandising and merchandise planning for twenty-plus years, over the course of which he has worked with major retail companies. Four years ago, John started Jerseys of Hope, a nonprofit dedicated to passing out athletic jerseys to hospital patients to lift their spirits and give them hope. John and his wife live in New Albany, Ohio--just outside of Columbus. They have a son and daughter and a small puppy. Cynthia Meadows, a native Texan, draws and paints on anything she can find. Whether it was cartoons on the sides of her homework in elementary school, paintings as Christmas gifts, murals on walls, or illustrations and storyboards for advertising agencies, she has continually decorated the world. Cynthia's desire to look inside characters is the reason she loves to illustrate children's books, to create characters, and to give the reader a positive, often humorous view of life.
