Staff Sgt. DAN CADDY is the founder of the Awesome Sh*t My Drill Sergeant Says Facebook page. After his deployment in Afghanistan, he began swapping great drill sergeant stories by email with other combat veterans. Pretty soon he realized he had hit a nerve and ASMDSS was born. The site now has more than ten individuals on staff, including many former drill sergeants.
