Overview

Twenty years ago, no one had ever heard of the planet Sartori, a small blue and green orb in the third orbit around a yellow sun with a gravity of 1.5 times earths gravitation. Now the Coalition of Free Worlds (COFW), specifically the coalition fleet, was about to have its first graduate from there. TeVal is not only the first of her kind to graduate from the Fleet Academy, she is something new. Different from a normal Sartorian, she was about to rock the carefully cultivated traditions of the entire service. Even the top brass had no idea of what they were getting. They are hoping for a way to communicate across the vast interstellar distances of space. What they get is a lot more than they bargained for.
