He earned an MBA as well as an MA (Public Policy) from the University of Chicago in 1990. His education has included 8 foundational years at Sacred Heart Grade School in Winnetka Illinois, as well as 15 years as a finance instructor at several universities. He and his wife Margaret have raised three successful children. Larry Feltes is a polymath as a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, farmer, economist, educator, financial management executive, and entrepreneurial consultant. Raised on a farm in West Chicago, he brings salt-of-the-earth, Pentagon, and strategic perspectives to bear on complex policy and economic issues. He has a BS in Economics (University of Wisconsin/ River Falls), MBA (University of Utah), and MPA (Auburn University) degrees and substantial Professional Military Education at Air University and National Defense University.
