During his studies, he worked as a student assistant at the Chair of Criminal Law III of Prof. Dr. Nina Nestler. After his first state law examination, he worked there as a research assistant and obtained his doctorate. His research work was funded by the Fritz Thyssen Foundation as part of a third-party funded project. After completing his doctorate, Gregor Vechtel is currently completing his legal clerkship in the district of the Bamberg Higher Regional Court. Contributor Biography - German Gregor Vechtel studierte Rechtswissenschaften mit wirtschaftswissenschaftlicher Zusatzausbildung an der Universit't Bayreuth und erwarb dort im Nebenstudium Recht und Wirtschaft einen Bachelor of Laws. W?hrend des Studiums arbeitete er als studentische Hilfskraft am Lehrstuhl fur Strafrecht III von Frau Prof. Dr. Nina Nestler. Nach der Ersten Juristischen Staatsprufung war er dort als Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter t?tig und promovierte ebenda. Seine Forschungsarbeiten wurden im Rahmen eines Drittmittelprojekts durch die Fritz Thyssen Stiftung gef?rdert.
