Die Autoren Prof. i.R. Dr. rer. nat. habil. Heiner Bubb leitete bis zu seiner Pensionierung den Lehrstuhl für Ergonomie an der TU München. Prof. Dr. Klaus Bengler leitet den Lehrstuhl für Ergonomie an der TU München. Dipl.-Ing. Rainer E. Grünen ist bei der Adam Opel AG in Rüsselsheim Globaler Senior Experte für die Querschnittsfunktion Ergonomie. Prof. Dr. Mark Vollrath leitet den Lehrstuhl für Ingenieur- und Verkehrspsychologie der TU Braunschweig.
