Dr. Mauro Cardone is a senior program manager of the Italian Space Agency and has more than thirty years of experience in the management and development of space programs. Moreover, he is in charge of the call for tender dedicated to ""Infrastructures for the Navigation"" organized in the following five themes, in phase of realization: a) Dedicated metropolitan beacon navigation system, b) National augmentation network, c) National GNSS Competence Centre, d) GNSS Radio Occultation Mission, e) GNSS Reflectometry Mission. Finally, he is taking care of the call for tender dedicated to Satellite Navigation called ""Navigation Systems for autonomous and automatic transport"", which will be organized in the following three streams of activities: Lot 1) Satellite navigation system for train control, Lot 2) Navigation system for autonomous road driving, Lot 3) Navigation system for autonomous maritime driving. He is the Italian delegate to International Committee of GNSS (ICG).
