Welcome to Book Two: Co-occurring Disabilities in the ""Autism: The Big Book Set of Help!"" series. This instalment takes on the complexities that can arise when one or more disabilities co-occur in an Autistic person. Here, you will gain insight into this world through the eyes of an autistic person. Let's be honest: neurodiversity isn't bad. In fact, it can be a wonderful, unique way to experience life. But it can be hard to know what to do if you don't know about or understand the full picture. For autistic people, sometimes our co-occurring disabilities are what cause us the most struggles with everyday life. The second instalment in this series of five is packed with information about common co-occurring disabilities that you may need to know, whether you need basic information or something more in-depth. This book covers topics from ADHD, to eating disorders, incontinence, PDA and RSD, along with other topics like elopement, AAC, sleep disorders, and masking. This book also contains two mini booklets to help with school advocacy with eating disorders or incontinence.
