He received his MA from St. Louis University and his PhD from the University of Toronto. Sweeney authored numerous other books and articles in scholarly journals and was the editor of 'Infinity' and four other volumes. William J. Carroll (MA and PhD, Catholic University of America) is President of Benedictine University. John J.
