"Alex McDermott is an author, historian, and creative producer. His passion is writing histories which tell the pivotal stories that help us understand how we came to be who we are today. He has contributed his expertise to Screen Australia, State Library Victoria, La Trobe University, SBS, ABC, and other organizations. Originally from ""down under"" and having spent many years between Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore, Tim Garner is now based in New York City. He holds a BA (honors) in musical theater from Singapore's LASALLE College of the Arts. During his time in Singapore, Tim was heavily involved in corporate training, film, TV, commercials, voice-over, and improvisation. His recent stage credits in the US include Guys & Dolls, 42nd Street, Mamma Mia!, Newsies, South Pacific, Barnum, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Wait Until Dark, And Then There Were None, Witness for the Prosecution, and The Sunshine Boys. Tim is a collector of vintage theater posters, an avid Kurt Vonnegut reader, and supporter of pineapple on pizza."
