""Contributor Biography - English Max Degenhart began studying law at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg in 2015. After completing the First State Examination in 2021, he was a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Institute for Foreign and International Private Law, Dept. II of the University of Freiburg i. Br. under the direction of Prof. Dr. Hanno Merkt, LL.M. (Univ. of Chicago) until 2024. In the winter semester 2024/2025, his dissertation was accepted by the Faculty of Law of the University of Freiburg. Max Degenhart currently is a legal trainee at the Regional Court of Freiburg.
