Overview

The Oriana and the Aurora were built for P&O as part of the expansion and development of the company at the end of the 20th Century. Both ships were ordered by Lord Stirling and built at the German shipyard of Meyer Werft. The quality and standard of these two ships are unique as they are the only cruise ships designed and built exclusively for the British market. Today, they are operated by P&O Cruises, who are owned by the American cruise giant, Carnival Corporation.
