Overview

Audrey's Perfect Holiday and Audrey's Perfect Christmas form part of a series of plays written by Amanda Greenwood Hopewell. Each play can be performed as a stand alone play or can be joined together as part of a larger production. This is a drama that takes the audience on a roller-coaster of emotions. It is based on the life of married couple, Audrey and Ted. Ted is a happily married husband and Audrey, a middle aged woman, who makes her living working in the local cake shop. She is relatively happy but the play reveals a woman flawed by her own naivety, giving her the uncanny ability to be led by just about anyone. Add her pretentious neighbour, Margie, to the mix and you have the perfect recipe for disaster.
