He earned PhD and Doctor Degrees from the Institute of Control Sciences of Russian Academy of Sciences in 1978 and 1989, respectively. He is now the head of the Automatic Control Department at CINVESTAV-IPN, and has published more than 120 papers in different international journals and 9 books. Andrey Polyakov is a researcher at NON-A team, Inria Lille-Nord Europe. He has graduated with a PhD in Physics and Mathematics from Voronezh State University, Russia in 2005. His areas of interest lie within control theory and differential equations.
