Atlas of Operative Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is an innovative, multidisciplinary, contemporary surgical atlas covering core aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, head and neck reconstructive surgery and facial cosmetic surgery. The text is constructed as a procedure-based surgical atlas with special emphasis placed on depicting surgical techniques with high-resolution color illustrations and images. Christopher J. Haggerty is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a Fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and currently serves as an Alternate Delegate for District V of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS). Dr. Haggerty has multiple peer-reviewed articles in the areas of dental implants, facial trauma, and reconstruction, and has lectured on the topics of dental implants, bone grafting, pathology, and reconstructive surgery. In addition to his private practice in Kansas City, Missouri, and serves as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Medical Center.Robert M. Laughlin is director of the residency program at Naval Medical Center in San Diego. Dr. Laughlin is a fellowship trained oral and maxillofacial surgeon, an accomplished lecturer and has numerous publications in the field of facial reconstructive surgery.
