Subsequent sections are organized according to specific characteristics of lesions to facilitate use by the reader. The organization follows the categories defined in the American College of Radiology Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System (BIRADS(R)). BIRADS(R) assessment codes are used to summarize the clinical significance of findings.
