This study re-examines the typology, chronology, origin and function of the large, multi-sheet bronze vessels - cauldrons and buckets - of the Atlantic Late Bronze and Early Iron Ages. It also contains a re-assessment of the dating of continental examples. It is accompanied by an illustrated catalogue of all known complete Atlantic vessels.
