Table of ContentsReviews"""At the Feet of Abraham offers a clear guide for doing transformative interfaith dialogue that is grounded in an embrace of radical hospitality and vulnerability amongst persons of faith in our world. Levi Nkwocha stands firmly in the midst of relevant voices shaping the contours of contemporary interfaith theologies needed to reshape how religious persons encounter each other to allow for peaceful co-existence."" --SimonMary A. Aihiokhai, author of Fostering Interreligious Encounters in Pluralist Societies: Hospitality and Friendship ""Theoretically informed and clearly argued, this is a timely and insightful book that anyone who thinks seriously about interreligious dialogue and pluralist coexistence will benefit from reading. At the Feet of Abraham tackles a crucial question of how to flourish with religious diversity. The impact of this fascinating book goes far beyond its focus on Christian-Muslim relations in Nigeria."" --Mun'im Sirry, University of Notre Dame ""The current ruptures in human relations and global connections are rooted largely in the problem of religious othering perpetrated especially between the three Abrahamic faiths. The question is, can the Abrahamic model of hospitality comprise a basis for peaceful co-habitation? Nkwocha answers this question, weaving it with an African indigenous culture of hospitality, thus offering a compelling local, yet globally relevant logic of interreligious dialogue."" --Austin C. Okigbo, University of Colorado at Boulder ""This is an important book that will, I hope, contribute much toward overcoming mutual longstanding Muslim and Christian wariness and hostility. Dr. Nkwocha brings an unusually multifaceted array of philosophical, theological, ethical, and cultural resources to bear on the topic of what he calls a new model of Abrahamic hospitality."" --Bradley Malkovsky, University of Notre Dame" At the Feet of Abraham offers a clear guide for doing transformative interfaith dialogue that is grounded in an embrace of radical hospitality and vulnerability amongst persons of faith in our world.
