Overview

What you now hold in your hands is a specific form of a combination of an ordinary calendar, planetary ephemerides, and a chart of houses. On each page of this calendar, you can read the position of the Sun and Moon calculated at midnight local time, as well as the times of ingress and aspects between planets and lights (taking daylight saving time into account). It is also possible to read the Medium Coeli and the Ascendant for any moment of the day. Similarly, you can find the time of planetary rising and setting without any trouble. With a little practice, and with the help of a compass, you can ascertain the current position of the planet in the local zone. Of course, there is also space for the name of the day of the week. The position of the Sun, Moon, and each planet is graphically represented inside the zodiac wheel. It starts at midnight on Monday and ends at midnight from Sunday to Monday a week later. There are two divisions on the outside of the zodiac wheel. The first, closer to the wheel, relates to the Medium Coeli, and the second, outermost (and uneven), to the Ascendant. The thicker lines are marked by hours. Their beginning indicates the position of the Ascendant and the Medium Coeli at a given hour on Monday, and the end of the line on Sunday (6 days later). Thus, the middle of the line indicates the position of the Ascendant and Medium Coeli on Thursday. The thinner lines indicate the time 30 minutes past the equal hour. An exception to this is the two Sundays after the time change when one hour has to be added or subtracted. The time of a planet's rising is estimated on the Ascendant scale as an hour placed in the same place as the planet in question. An analogy is made with its high point (Medium Coeli). By setting the calendar so that the line with the current hour on the Medium Coeli scale points to noon, we obtain the local zone chart. Let's be in touch: http: //astromandala.pl/calendar/ There we will describe other possibilities for using the calendar, including using the birthday horoscope printed as a foil bookmark. If you need a calendar calculated for another location let us know! All calculations were made for London.
