Author Information

Edited by 3dtotal Publishing, based in Worcester, UK. Originally a digital artist's resource website, 3dtotal has grown into an industry-leading art-book publisher. Renowned for creating high-quality, inspirational, and practical tutorial books with some of the best artists working in the movie, games, animation, and publishing industries, 3dtotal Publishing sets the standard for modern art books. Born during his parents' move from Cambodia in the wake of the Khmer Rouge genocide, Andrew Hem grew up between two cultures the rural society of his Khmer ancestors, and the dynamic urban arts of the tough Los Angeles neighbourhood where his family came to rest. Fascinated by graffiti at an early age, he honed his skills with graphics and composition on the walls of the city before following a passion for figure drawing to a degree in illustration from Art Center College of Design. Working in gouache, oil, and acrylic, Andrew Hem weaves atmospheric, richly textured narratives in a vivid palette. Feefal (real name Linnea) is a Swedish/Japanese artist with a following of over 1.1 million on Instagram. She is known for creating anthropomorphised figures and cute, spooky characters. She lives in Stockholm and she shares her art on Instagram on a regular basis. Feefal uses Procreate (digital software), graphite, and gouache for her work. She published a top-selling art book, The Art of Feefal with 3dtotal Publishing in 2022.
