Jodi-Maree is a retired doctor, medical manager and adult educator. She has dedicated her adult life to the service of others. After retiring from medicine, she developed a new passion, animal welfare and training. Spending the last eight years training Assistance Animals for individuals with life challenges, she has witnessed firsthand the power of the human-animal bond. She now enjoys a simpler life as an animal assisted play therapist and assistance dog trainer in Queensland, Australia. Her books are designed to help others face life challenges, support growth and strengthen human-animal relationships.
