Asian American Ethnicity and Communication

Overview

Asian American Ethnicity and Communication provides a guide to what is known about Asian American communication and the factors that influence it. William B Gudykunst illustrates how communication is similar and/or different across Asian American ethnic groups - a previously neglected area of research. The author covers the largest Asian American ethnic groups: Chinese Americans, Filipino Americans, Japanese Americans, Korean Americans, and Vietnamese Americans. This unique volume draws on both the author's own research, and data from several recently made studies. The data is presented in a non-statistical manner with the methods used presented in the Appendix.
