Terry Shigemitsu spent twenty-eight years in the feature film and animation industry, contributing to visual effects and animation for major studios including Walt Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios. Early in his career, he worked on the first three seasons of Futurama, the animated series created by Matt Groening, and later served as a CG supervisor, collaborating with visual effects pioneer Richard Edlund.A lifetime spent building cinematic worlds shaped his approach to fiction.
