Reviews

As Time Goes By: An Analytic Journey is a great book written with modesty by the heir of one of the most important dynasties in the psychoanalytic world. Locating real life in psychoanalytic theories, Judith Dupont provides a fresh narration of Ferenczi's clinical ideas and of their subsequent development. Following the thread of personal memories she reevokes tragic moments of world history and a conflict ridden page of psychoanalysis with airiness, a reader closes this book with the feeling that something has been restored. I strongly recommend it. --CARLO BONOMI, author The Cut and the Building of Psychoanalysis, Volumes I & II
