Overview

Ecclesiastes 1: 9-10, plainly tells us what has been will be again. What has been done will be done again. History repeats itself. Solomon was stating and emphasizing the cyclic nature of human life on earth. In verse 10, Is there anything whereof it may be said, See this is new? It hath been already of old time, which was before us. There has not been since Noah's ark landed on the earth after the flood a time of technology and modernization as today. So referring to verse ten in Ecclesiastes the time that Solomon was speaking of would have been before the universal flood that destroyed all living beings on earth except those safely on the ark. Christ spoke in the New Testament of coming days and times which would be as those days of Noah. You can see the signs He spoke of so prevalent today. Just how close are we to His coming?
