Arty the Arctic Tern: Starts with a Storm

Overview

Follow best friends, Arty the Arctic Tern and Lily the Lemming, on their migration adventures around the world! Way up at the North Pole, climate change is forcing the Arctic terns to adapt. When Arty learns that the biggest thunderstorm ever is headed toward them, he's not worried about his first migration to the South Pole. His only concern is having to leave his best friend, Lily the Lemming, behind. Can Arty and Lily find a way to get Arty flying straight and full of food for the long journey ahead? And what will happen when the storm finally arrives? Arty the Arctic Tern Starts with a Storm is the first book in a series featuring fun characters, adventures around the world, and pressing environmental issues. It's a great conversation starter for parents and educators who want to talk to kids about climate change in a fun, age-appropriate way.
