Overview

The objective of the research was to determine if there is a relationship between the variables ""artisanal mining"" and ""community development"" in the rural population of Llacuabamba, 2022. Community located in the department of La Libertad, province of Pataz, district of Parcoy, Peru. Materials and methods. The study population was 4,033 mine workers residing in the rural community of Llacuabamba, with an adjusted sample of 179 workers and a significance level of 0.05. The analysis procedure was carried out by means of Likert scale questionnaires. The SPSS statistical program was used to establish the normality of the information and the hypothesis test, determining the correlations to contrast them with the premises.
