Overview

This book will shed light on the history of Artificial Neural Networks, which is still a new but well-known technology, commonly referred to as Connectionism or simply ANNs. It will explain their trajectory over time, focusing on two learning models: Reinforcement Learning and Competitive Learning. Although it is a well-known branch of technology, it is little explored, yet it already has a long history of effectiveness and many works on the subject, both practical and scientific research by university students, masters, doctors, and writers. However, this work differs from others in its simple and practical absorption of content, being useful both for those who are already experts on the subject and for those who are just starting out in the field and need something of quality to inform themselves. RNA are a form of non-algorithmic computing, which, at some level, resemble the structure of the human brain, as they are distributed parallel systems that calculate certain mathematical functions. The Turing Test, known as the father of this technology, is a great example of this.
