Author Information

Retired from the medical field and with time to do what she loves, she began writing. She has always loved poetry. In the past several years she has studied and mastered different forms of poetry and has compiled approximately 60 forms into two instructional books, The Nooce (sic) and Other Fun Poetry, and The Blues and Other Fun Poetry. She also has a book Haiku Pennsylvania Perspective of Haiku and other Japanese forms, including Haiga, Senryu, Tanka, and Sedoka. Since becoming a great grandmother she has tried her hand at a children's book, The Many Moods of Cherie the Chatty Caterpillar, with a companion coloring book. This is her second children's book/coloring book combo, and she is working on the third. Also edited, The Cat's Meow-How to Choose and Train Your Human, written by her cat in pur-r-r-fect Feline English. One of her other interests is photography. She has had some photos published, others on display at various art/photography shows, and at Latrobe Art Center. Due to her fun gingerbread collection she has been dubbed by her friends as Gingerbread Jan.
