Overview

While science and art have traditionally been regarded as antithetical terms, in recent years a new and refreshing stress has been placed on the parallelisms and transpositions between these two disciplines. With original contributions from prestigious specialists from Spain, Mexico, Argentina, and the United States, this insightful resource promotes a discussion of the links between science and art. It sets out to describe their historical background and present state, and to explore the relationships between specific artistic and scientific fields, along with their specific set of problems and issues.
