He has published widely on the avantgarde and post-socialist art, including Aesthetic Revolutions and Twentieth-Century Avant-Garde Movements (Duke UP, 2015). Tyrus Miller, Ph.D. (1994), Stanford University, is Distinguished Professor of Art History and English at the University of California Irvine. He has published extensively on modernism and the avant-garde, the Frankfurt School, and Georg Lukács, including Georg Lukács and Critical Theory: Aesthetics, History, Utopia (Edinburgh UP, 2023).
