A book comprising of images of beautifully illustrated Art Nouveau images - poppies, daffodils, roses, tulips and many more. These books of images are so versatile because they can be used in so many ways, for example photocopied and then made into transfers for bed linen, or made into cross-stitch charts. Art nouveau has remained popular and you will always see many attractive items throughout the home emblazoned with the images. The book gives an interesting little background on 'Art Nouveau', informing us that it means 'new art' and how it arose in our society. Each image in this book is in black and white and so can be easily photocopied and used however you want. Individual designs may be copied and used up to fifteen times without any further permission from the publishers. I enjoyed doing some glass painting with one of these designs. Most of the images in this book are quite large but can be enlarged or decreased in size as required. If anyone's interested I am also working on a project similar to this at the moment only mine will be more floral. As you can see, I will certainly be saving myself a lot of money! That's just one of the many perks of crafting and using these fabulous design source books, another one to add to my personal library... * www.thebookbag.co.uk * Summer 08 I appreciate the designs within this book - Art Nouveau Flowers. I realize it is possible to amalgamate and separate the designs to create ones own. I am disappointed at the size of the designs and would like it to contain some smaller designs. For the corner of a handkerchief these designs are too large. Stephanie Horton, Penzance * West Country Embroiderers * Summer 08 I appreciate the designs within this book - Art Nouveau Flowers.
