Dan Azoulay is a retired historian. He taught modern Canadian and American history at McMaster University and York University for over thirty years, with a focus on social and cultural developments. He is also the author/editor of six books, including his most recent. Venus Passing: The Great War and the Death of Canadian Romance. He lives in Newmarket, Ontario with his wife, Raya, with whom he shares a passion for all things Deco.
