Thomas Smith is one of a handful of pharmacists in the world with an advanced degree in psychology. An adjunct professor on the faculties of the Saint Louis University School of Nursing and the Butler University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (where Tom has taught Doctoral Nursing and Pharmacy students) as well as previously being a Faculty instructor at the University of Phoenix (teaching psychology), Tom has also lectured on numerous topics to thousands of healthcare, educational, and lay persons throughout the United States on topics as varying as psychopharmacology, dissociative identity disorder, migraine headaches, chronic pain, bipolar disorder, complimentary and alternative (integrative) therapies, autism, bipolar disorder, and others. Still a practicing therapist AND a practicing pharmacist, Tom and his lovely wife the attorney Barbara Smith (a co-presenter with Tom on issues of healthcare legal issues) live in a small town just south of Indianapolis with a passel full of critters.
