OverviewArmy Techniques Publication ATP 3-90.40 Combined Arms Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction JUNE 2017 ATP 3-90.40 provides doctrine on how to conduct the countering weapons of mass destruction (CWMD) mission as combined arms teams. It is primarily oriented on the brigade combat team (BCT) and below. This manual provides tactical-level commanders, staff, and key agencies with a primary reference for planning, synchronizing, integrating, and executing combined arms CWMD. At a minimum, it- Integrates current guidance, lessons learned, and new concepts that have been recently developed and fielded on this subject.
