Arguments and Clarifications: A Philosophical encounter between J. O. Chimakonam and M. I. Edet on the Ibuanyidandaness of Complementary Ontology with a feature essay by Prof. Innocent I. The subject of the debate is the theory of ibuanyidanda ontology as propagated by Prof. Asouzu. J. O. Chimakonam in his essay attempts to question the ibuanyidandaness of the theory with strings of critical objections. In response, M. I. Edet, an advocate of Complementary ontology confronted Chimakonam's objections with equally provocative arguments. On the whole, the book used the tool of philosophy to unearth and shape discourse on African philosophy and thought. It is a must read and this is how philosophy ought to be done.
