Reviews

The study by A. Muller is amply furnished with relevant materials, underlining the detailed and clearly structured text and its two appendices. 75 figures and more than 40 tables support the well-written text and must be seen as indispensable parts of the scientific argumentation. This holds especially true for the almost 40 coloured maps, diagrams and satellite images, mostly concentrating on the two regional case studies. A comprehensive bibliography provides additional food for thought - and for further reading. Altogether: A valuable example of German megacity research!
