Are You Ready To Serve is a workbook designed for those called to ministry leadership. Many are called but few are chosen. How does one become called and then chosen? By hearing the voice and then the word of God. Most of those who have served God for a season-or-two will admit that they have, and sometimes still do wonder if God was really calling them. It's human nature. So, before you get started, take a minute to release the stress you feel over questing. Using this book can allow you and your students to have enjoyable experiences during a defining period in their lives. Acknowledging the call to serve can be a scary process for the person called, but not knowing what will be revealed during these studies can also be scary for the leader teaching the course. As I do for any other types of engagement, I recommend even the leaders start a fast before engaging this study. Your God's point of contact for every individual participating in the leadership classes in your ministry.
