Reviews

The book is the outcome of the 2016 conference of the UK's Science and Religion Forum, which brings together leading scientific and theological thinkers to reflect on key issues. The editor, Gillian Straine, as well as the Publicity Officer for the forum, is the director of The Guild of Health and St Raphael, an ecumenical organization promoting, resourcing and researching the healing ministry. The forum seeks to promote that science and religion, when properly understood, is not in opposition, but complementary in the search for truth. This gives an indication of the perspective of the book's authors. [...] [T]he contributions are thoughtful and a stimulant for further study. The insights presented in this book are extremely useful to scholars, students and others seeking to explore the limits of the fields of science and religion, Malcolm S. BuchananScience & Christian Belief, Vol. 31:2, October 2019
