Author Information

Janet King is from South Africa and travelled extensively before settling in Ireland. A graphic designer and artist, she mainly paints seascapes and also runs her own art studio. She has always been an avid sailor as well as a keen mountain walker. Her sailing includes several ocean voyages and racing where the foredeck is her favourite place. Michael Holland, a successful entrepreneur whose passion is long-distance sailing, has been sailing for thirty years on ever-increasing adventures. Among his voyages are several Atlantic crossings and a circumnavigation of Ireland, Iceland and Greenland. He has been awarded the Faulkner Cup from the Irish Cruising Club, their most prestigious award, for his journey from the Arctic to Antarctica.
